new receiver with shaker 500?

I would like to get a pioneer receiver with cd player,mp3 etc.
My question is this..Can I keep 6 cd changer that comes with the shaker 500,remove the shaker 500 receiver,and replace it with the pioneer??Is the unit all one piece
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated..
