New HU installed, finally
Got everything done today/yesterday. Very happy with the Kenwood HU (KDC-X889), Infinity Kappa speakers all around and OK happy with the sub (Soundstream - great price, and my first sub - so I might upgrade later). Amps are on back of back seat and tweeters for the fronts are on the A-piler. Not bad for about $1300 (only $100 more that Shaker).

Nice head unit....I love the fact you got TMS logo on it...how did u do that

It's part of Kenwood's software called Picture Engine 2005. You create them on your PC and then download them to the HU. I actually have about 10 scrolling backgrounds, all mustangs or "mustang" scripts....

Here's a pix of the sub and tweeter. The infinity tweeter was kind of deep, so he could not flush mount it using the supplied harness. So for now we just surface mounted it. I'm up for any other ideas.
I'll try to add sub pix later, it will not let me??

Can we maybe see some pictures of the rest of the system (specifically the tweeters).

Not to doubt my installer, but I did go out and look behind the a pillar - absolutely NO room!! This little Infinity only needed less that an inch, NOT THERE. There's car metal that almost touches the plastic.....
