My Kenwood XXV-01d Install
First off... I want to send a special thanks to Hawgman for answering all my questions.. and remaining patient... THANK YOU HAWGMAN!
Secondly, this was my first time ever doing any sort of stereo install... it went great... I really didnt have any problems.
And I tell you... I am soooo in love with this headunit... it does everything I want.. and 1000x more... it even makes the speakers that came with my Sheisse 500 sound decent (they will still be replaced, mind you =D )
Anyway... I cant say enough about this headunit...
(btw, sorry for the crappy pics... i took it at night when the sun went down =( )

Nice HU!!! I've got the KDC-X889 sitting in a box waiting to be installed (trying to decide on a sub and amps). Did you use Kenwoods Picture Engine 2005 to make your display wallpaper? I've got one already made with multple mustang logos, ford logos, and even the TMS logo. Can't wait to get this HU installed!!
yeah, i used the Picture Engine 2005 for the wallpaper... actually the one in the photo is a test wallpaper, the one i use is the same as my avatar.
I absolutely am in love with the HU...its got plenty of settings, so you can really tweak the sound... unfortunately, i dont have the speakers replaced yet (possibly next week), so a lot of the sound settings are somewhat lost on the crappy stock speakers.. but Im looking forward to getting that amp and speaker upgrade so i can really play with the HU..
