I have played and played around with the My color option in my "05. I dont know about you guys but I dont see 125 different colors. Maybe 15 but thats it. Am I doing something wrong or just simply gone color blind? Can someone tell me that there really is 125 (noticable) colors?

Thanks for your input.

Yes, there technically are 125 colors. A lot of them are just plain odd though. If I had to guess, I'd say there are about 25 to 50 "colors" - I'm not counting the odd pastels you can get with some lol. Miami Vice anybody?

There are 125. Look at this spreadsheet for all the combos.

You can blend the 5 stages of the 3 different colors together.

5x5x5=125

Somewhere on this forum there's a spreadsheat like that with all the different colors shaded in. Anyone know what happened to it? Many of the colors are so similar you can barely tell them apart.

If there are settings from 0 - 5 isnt that actually 6 levels?

So 6 * 6 * 6 = 216

(i think he was being sarcastic about the 15 colors... basically saying to him, only about 15 of them are "noticable")

I found that one, but it apparently got messed up during the software conversion.

Isn't 1 = off? What if you want a pure blue, no red or green?

Technically there are 125, but honestly you just get different shades of about a dozen different colors. It's still really cool though.

I see you caught on to what I was trying to say.

Other than that guys, I was really wanting to make sure that I was not doing something wrong in adjusting the colors. Overall I guess there is about 15 noticable colors. But let me add that I am not complaing. Over all it is 124 more colors than I had in my previuous Mustang. I think its a real cool option of which I love. Thanks for the help guys.

what really pissed me off about the colors is that they dont use the primary colors RED BLUE and YELLOW. so i have a screamin yellow gt and i cant get a stinkin yellow of ANY shade at a background...wtf is green one of the 3 color levels? yellow and blue makes green, its a secondary color...arg i could rant on but ive learned to just live with it (i put on a baby blue and called it a day)
