I was looking for some help finding the right wires for installing an alarm and found this website. I am installing this tonight and tomorrow, so I'll let you know if it is accurate. Have a look.

FYI
So far it is pretty accurate. It even lists a negative trigger for the trunk pop. That should help those wanting to put in a trunk pop button.

Well, I'm finished with the remote start/alarm and the diagram above was pretty accurate. The only problem I had was for the factory alarm disarm wire......26 pin black connector pin #16 light blue with black. It was actually the 52 pin black connector and the pin was like pin #13. The color was correct though. I had to get an additional module for the PATS bypass. All in all it worked pretty well. Just thought I'd put it out there.

I'm a very beginner for DIYing. So plz excuse my ignorance.

1. Do I need any diodes or relay to install remote car starter with push button?

2. What does '+', '-' after wire color means? Is there any difference to do?

3. I heard that there's shortage power to remote start. So someone says that there needs some treatment to amplify voltage. Is it right?

Please reply me.

The + means Positive wire. The - means a negative powered wire.
