Here's mine. I bought it before I got the car last November. I like it, but would like to be able to turn off the backlighting during the day. It isn't that bad most of the time, but if the top is up and it isn't sunny it is a little hard to see. I like the one in your link also, probably would have bought it if it was available when I bought mine.

How hard of an installation process is that?

The hardest part was getting the old glue off after I removed the old face. Just grab the bezel around the gauges and pull it off. If I remember right there were 4 screws and a connector and the cluster is out. Mine is from USSpeedo and the directions were pretty straight forward. I have done others and this one was the easiest to get to and if you had problems getting the needles back in the right spot you can plug the connector back in and they will reset so you can try it again. Do a search for last Nov-Dec. This was talked about then.

NOle Trainer (Luke) and myself, we have white face gauges, mine are not like the ones you've linked, it's completely white... here's the link

Do a search for "white gauges", you'll get some results

Just be "aware" of the fact that the numbers in certain lighting conditions will not be viewable. I sometimes turn my fogs on to activate "mycolor", or sometimes I just don't care how "slow" I'm driving........

yup, is not like I need to be looking at EVERY NUMBER on the faceplate, so I don't care, the white looks REALLY COOL!

You know what I don't remember? If the white overlay had glue in the back or not... I think I just put the overlay where the old one was and with the left over glue from the original just left it there...

Luke, do the white ones have glue on the back? If they do, I'm gonna have to take them apart as I'm sure the lights will be a little more intense and the other indicators (turn signals, cruise, etc) a little more intense and defined

Well wait a minute, I'm just talking about the glue around the edges. Whatever I used to glue it down to the guage pod. I do not remember a "film" over the actual lense. But now that you got me thinking, someone did say something about it??????

Why don't you take it off to be sure, then we'll both know for sure!!!

The NR ones has a sticky strip on the edge of the bottom half only. Not around the whole thing or in the middle like the OEM. I didn't clean off the residue, just slapped the NR one on there and worked fine. I don't remember there being any type of film over the numbers. On another note, I got the one with the green tint on the window and it is way brighter than the OEM. I think I may cut out the stock one and put it ont the NR one. Maybe a project for next winter...Or sooner if you guys find out that there is a film over the numbers. :-)

IF YOU HAVE THE IUP, YOU CAN CONTROL THE BRIGHTNESS OF THE LED LIGHTS, NO NEED TO CUT ANYTHING OUT OF ANYTHING

Guessing you mean with the dimmer wheel? If so, that's true, but then it dims all the LEDs. It's only the message window that's brighter. Didn't bother me with the OEM, that's why I was thinking of only chaning the plastic film for that window.
