MP3 capabilities question

Hubby is going to get me a MP3 player for Christmas as my 07 GT has a jack in the middle compartment for hookup. Anyone use this and if so do I need a special cable to connect to the jack in the car? Thanks for the help.

Hey Sandy, nice car. To answer your question, yes you will need a new cable to connect your MP3 player to the jack in the center console. You will need to get a wire that has 3.5m plugs on both ends. You can get them at any electronics shop. Most people stop off at their local radio shack. Just get one long enough if you want to keep your player outside the console.

You can use 1/8" male to 1/8" male wiring. 3.5m is huge, that is a over 10'

Sorry about that. I thought that what they called them. 3.5M, and the "m" not standing for milimeters. Thanks for the clarification.
