Mondeo start engine button
Not trying to be flame-bait here, but I wonder what is the point?
You lose your 12v dashboard power and you add an extra step to starting your car. (key to ON then pushing the start button)
It's a bit of extra bling I guess but seems to me to be a major PITA for little benefit. (flame retardant suit on and ready)

If wired in correctly, the car will start with both the button and key, so it's not an extra step unless you want to. It looks a lot better than the hole in your dash, or an ugly plug. Plus, it's functional, so it's not pure bling.
I don't care if anyone thinks it's useless, this button looks so good I'd even install it without making it functional. But I will find out more on how to make it work next month, when the local dealership receives their first Mondeos.
More in a couple of weeks.
