Making my own SubWoofer Box, How do I?
I have a 5' by 5' sheet of MDF. I'd like to use it to make a box holding one 10" or 12" sub.
Has anyone done this or know of any could how to write ups. Anyone have recommendations on a sub amp combo that would work for this?
Also, how hard is it to plug an amp into the stock Shaker 500 head unit. Obviously the factory unit doesn't have a sub only out.
I'm an audio noob so treat me as such.

Anyone have suggestions on simple 2 channel amp and 10" sub that would be a compact form factor?

A Dayton RS10HO for the sub. Put it in .7 cubes tuned to 30-35hz. Power it with a Lanzar Opti2300 direct from Lanzar. You're looking at about $200 total (without box/wiring), and a VERY nice sounding setup that can get louder than many people want.
