Hi all

Anyone please help me, I am installing a Pioneer AVIC-Z1 on Tuesday and I am looking to try and ID some wires before I attempt the install.

Basicly I am looking for 2 wires, first is the Parking Brake + voltage line , looks like a switch from under the parking brake I need to tap from but can anyone shed a little more light on this for me please?

The other is the Reverse gear signal light, I have been told I can follow a cable from the lights but wonder if anyone has found this anywhere a little closer to the front of the car?

Ground the parking brake wire that's all you need to do there, I grabbed the wire at the reverse light for the reverse signal but I was running a cable for a camera at the same time so it wasn't a big deal.

Ground the parking wire as mentioned, I used the following post to help with the reverse wire:
