MGW stuff is awsome quality too, especially their new designs. Get the satin version, they have a nice rugged metal look and don't show fingerprints like chrome does.

Nope...looks just like the cobra above (or my running pony, below), just with the word EJECT. It is pretty cool though...got one for my wife's car...she really likes it.

Does anyone have the power plug outlet version, does it just cap it off or stick out like the lighter? I found other ones which were nice but these look nicer/more finished. I just don't want it sticking out.

It sticks out some (mine are both power plugs), since it's made to replace a recessed power plug. It still looks good to me though.

Have you contacted them yet? Maybe it's a faulty plug.

I really dig the EJECT one - although you would think with plugging into a POWERPOINT, someone would make one that lights up???...

No I have'nt...It does not fit right. I ordered it by phone and now I am wondering if year model has anything to do with it. I ordered some other things for my dad for Christmas and his car is an 02. Maybe they shipped the lighter for a 02??

Donna:

Did you order the plug or lighter, I ordered the plug and it is a very tight fit with the couple of o-rings on the inserted part. it looks real good but will not go in all the way. If you ordered the lighter version, I am not sure if that would work, because the power plug is not a lighter and the inside diameter is different.
If you want a real lighter that works, I think I read where Ford sells a lighter kit to replace the dash power point. How this helps.

I ordered the lighter version. I probably should have just gotten the plug. I think I will see if they will exchange it.

I bought the lighter as well and it did not fit or work, I contacted them today and they are going to swap it out for the plug. Nice quality product and easy to do business with. I also purchased the Billet door lock pins today.

It's a Sony unit from Japan. There's a whole topic on it a bit further down this forum.
