mjudge624,

Those custom scuff plates really rock. I am confused about ordering one, though. The sample logos include things like the 45th anniversary logo, but they do not appear to be an option from the drop down lists. Also, I am confused about the ambient light option. skullzero appears to be installing the ambient light door sills in his 2008, but the website only lists it as an option for the 2010? I have a 2009 with the factory ambient light system (but not the door sills).

Thanks.

it came wired for ambiant lighting or a plug on the end of the wires to be precise. but since i dont have the plugs in the car by the sill i had to select which colored wire/light re,blue ,green to use and splice into it. as far as the pic of the logos it shows you what you can get for the left side middle fonts and right side logos. but you can get writing on the right side and left side if you want. i just ordered fordracing logo on the left and my name in the middle and powered by ford on the right. and on a side note i still havent had the time to go back and rewire the sill on the a-pillar.
jeff from ford actually called me and left a mesage for me giving me an answer to the problem, but i havent tried it yet. and also a number to call if this wasnt right. but looking forward to you guys getting yours and installing them and comparing notes on them. hopefully this helped you BLUEGT

well today i had to take my car to tire dealer to get new bands put on ,new tires rims. so while i was driving i was noticeing my electrical system acting funny interior light on all time and the person following me said my left brake light not working. so just 2 mins ago i started to read my email and got a letter from ford stateing
GROUND WIRE COLOR:
FOR 2005-2009 - SHOULD BE LIGHT GREEN/ YELLOW
FOR 2010: BLACK/ YELLOW
POWER WIRE COLOR:
FOR 2005-2009 - SHOULD BE BLACK/ LIGHT BLUE
FOR 2010: YELLOW/GREEN
so after looking at this yes i did have it wired backwards, but that was due to the instructions that was giving to me . since i haden't the time to change this before i left the house to get the tires fixed i hope i didnt mess up my electrical system and fry something. also i am havent a fitment issue earlier with the left side plate doesnt fully seat itself . any ideas on how to seat it better??
if i can post the pdf file i got from ford i will for all to see

its the driver sill , part of it seats ok then the front half the plastic doesnt seat keeps wanting to pop out into the air . the metal part with text is fine ,its the plastic its not formed right is the best way to describe the situation. when i get my car back from the tire dealer tommorrow i will post some pics of the sill not seating.

hmm... maybe you can hold it in place and take a heat gun or a blow dryer to it? just a thought.

no i havent been under the weather lately feels like the flu. i started to redue some of the wireing again and add a switch to it, since it looks like the sill stays on 24/7 . will post the picks of new install in a few days when i feel a bit better working in a 15 degree garage sucks. i need to get a heater or something.
