Kenwood 617 DVD player install Q? w/ harness
The large harness I have soldered and shrink wrapped all connections.
Before I go ahead with the install, I know that I will need a voltage regulator to keep the subs from popping but I'll get into that once it's working and I get to radio shack.
My question relates to the smaller harness and the two wires that are coming out of the same connector. There are two RCA plugs, I assume I need extensions to goto the reciever box, but what are the two white/black runner wires for? Do I need them? I assume they are for the subs?
Do I need to plug in the reverse light harness (i dont have a camera)?
I'm grounding the brake safety wire so it works while the car is not in park, for passengers.. I don't watch tv while driving.
Thanks guys..
This is my first since highschool some 18 years ago and i'm clueless on the stereo thing. Any help is appreciated.
