I've got Lime disease!!!

See, it's spreading!!! And now you can see why I'm trying to get that pesty door trim handle off. If if you're not a fan of the Lime, exuse me, LEGEND LIME, please hold down the flaming and imagine the mods in your color.
Then you can let me have it

Well, I for one like it! I think the lime would look a little better with a dark charcoal interior, but thats just my taste, though it still looks darn good. Great job!

BTW, I personally love the Legend Lime color. I really wished they had offered it and the screaming yellow color for the 07 model year (when I got my car). Two of my favorites!

Thanks Mark.
I didn't want dark interior or top for two reasons. Gets too hot here in summer 100+, and I like the classy look with the parchemnt. The Lime has made it very hard to try and figure out some graphics to paint on though. With black top it would have had a shaker and Boss stripes already. As you can see from my last two cars, I like me some custom paint.

Steve, you definitely hit the nail on the head with what you said about the dark interior being too hot!
Did you paint the interior parts yourself or have a paint shop do it??? They look great.
About graphics/stripes for your car. Did you consider a ghost stripe? I've been toying with the idea for my silver GT....its one of those things that is more subtle than regular stripes but still looks great IMO

My friend does my paint work on small projects, interior and he's doing a hood scoop for me that I should install tomorrow. But for the big stuff like on my other project cars I have a differeant guy for that. He would do any graphics for me. What do you think for ghost on this lime color? Would it be just same paint a little lighter with heavy pearl? I love ghost stuff!!!
I've seen and thought about parchment stripes to match top but just ain't down with that.
Hey, just had a thought. Maybe take the hood scoop to graphic painter and have him put down some ghost flames on it before I install it on the car. Then if I like'em enough, do the hood. If not in love with them, at least I'll have a differant loking scoop. Is that a stupid idea?

Mark, if I had a sivler stang right now I'd do the Boss stripes like on my old Lighting, it had ghost flames in the center wide stripe. Or I'd do Boss stripes (or something) with that new 08 Vapor color. It is so fricken awesome in person, it's a smoky silver color with a ton of flake in it.

No, I think thats a good idea. Even if you decided that you didn't like the scoop, you could always have it repainted, instead of having to repaint your whole hood. With the scoop on, it may give you a real feel as to which direction you want to go. And then again, you may decide that the scoop alone with the graphics is enough. I've noticed that changing one thing has a tendency to change others even when you think everything is all "mapped out" beforehand. As an example: I had chrome tail light bezels on my car and I was happy with the look of them against the silver trunk deck. However, after I blacked out the rear deck, the chrome bezels didn't look as good to me. After removing the bezels, it actually looked much better with stock tail lights with the blacked out panel. I have some black slotted tail light covers that I'm painting now that will take their place. Keep in mind I'm still pretty new at all of this, and by the looks of your previous photos you have a much better eye for mods than I do. Just don't forget to post more pics of your car after you put the scoop on

I couldn't resist, I put the scoop on just the way it is. I'll let it jell for awhile then see how the spirts move me.
Take care

Hey Norm, Glad to hear you'll be at the Show. I've been feel'n human again and am looking forward to the show. I've got some billet ***** & shift benzel coming. And thanks to your sharing, I ordered them in "satin" finsh and not "polished".

Mark, I got it from Web-Electrics, but they no longer have it. Peolpe have been blogging about where to get them. But can't find them.

Normally, I'm not a fan of colored interior pieces, but Steve, your car looks great! I think it's the combo of the Legend Lime and tan interior, the colors work really well together.
