What do you think about the Ford's MyColor dash lights, nice or rice?

I set my color to white. how about you?

 

Nice but they should have made it change all the interior lights.

 

yeah, it is kind of dumb that the other areas stay green. that's ok. i like it green anyways. reminds me of my 66.

I think that it is nice in my 05. I have mine set to the old school Ford green so I don't mind that it doesn't change the other lights. I have read though that Ford has dropped the My Color Feature. That make for quite the conversation when our cars are old.

 

They haven't dropped it yet. My '07 has it.

I agree with Leo 06GT. All the lights should change colour on the dash. Perhaps this is something Ford will figure out in future years. I noticed on the new corvettes that there is a digital speed indicator on the windshield, that would be a good idea also.

 

I think it's NICE.

Of course Mycolor is only good for blues, purples, and greens though.

 

Definately nice. Set to blue and I too wish the other lights changed as well.

 

Keep mine green to match the radio.

 

My aftermarket HU is Blue so it will match nicely once it's all installed.

 

And red looks crazy at night

 

I have mine on my 05 GT set to red right now. I thought it carried the theme of my Redfire exterior. However, I ocassionally change it to whatever suits me at the time. For a while I had it set to a shade of green to match the rest of the dash lights. I do wish that all the dash lights would be able to change color. I would have paid more for that to be included in the mycolor option. I also like the red dash lights because my old Pontiac had red lights and I liked the look.

 

I am probably one of the few who actually play with the colors somewhat frequently... Right now, I have it set to blue, but I usually go between blue, green, red and white... Depends on my mood...

 

I think MYcolor is pretty cool. I've set mine to green. Mostly to match the rest of the dash, but also cos I see green better at night. I also like orange sometimes, but it's hard to see during the day. My wife prefers blue when she drives.

Granted, I will probably only switch up colors once in a blue moon, but having that ability is a pretty cool option.

I just wish we had a driver preference memory setting. Just push a button and my seat is the way i like it and in MYcolor, then when my wife drives she can get her settings...

 

I agree with the others in that the feature should change all the lights not just the gauge cluster. I think it is really cool. I have mine set to a sky blue color all the time. It's funny how they don't let you mess with it unless you're stopped.

 

Freedom to change your instrument cluster color. Who wouldnt love that.

I set Mycolor to blue and like it.

 

I like it. I don't mix the colors all that much anymore. I do change the pre-set colors once in a while when I get bored with a color.
