Why would you want those extra interior lights anyway? Mustang Lurkers and Groupies don't like to be very active in the light... if you know what I mean.

Seems a little cheezy to me on something other then a kid's compact. Some MB's have little lights in the mirror that 'light' the center console slightly, very classy.

I just used 6" mini-neon tubes up under the footwells on a seperate switch, so I can have them on if I want to....adds nice effect w/o going too wild.

I used a couple of 194 sidemarker sockets and attached them with tie straps. I wanted them more under the dash and with a lower wattage bulb. They are wired in at the pillar on the passenger side and work along with the overhead lights.

I also thought there wasn't enough light in the trunk so I added a couple of these.....I didnt use the whole assemblies for ease of changing the bulb.
They are tied into the light in the trunk lid. The 194 bulb gives off plenty of light to do the job.

Mood lighting??

I remember reading a thread a while back on this option coming out for the 08's called mood lighting and from what i remember, its not only lit leg wells...cup holders will be lit also and you'll also be able to change the colors as in the "my color" option.

Oh, and HID headlights will be new for 08's.....and thats it, i think.

These look like the factory lights on the two 66 convertibles I have had. I word of caution: My wife has burned herself on those several times. They get very hot.

Here are a couple different views of the tubes themselves - and the switch in the center console. I tried getting a pic of them lit up, but camera was acting up. Will try again w/ different camera.

Yeah thanks. It's snowing and windy here in Michigan again, and will be all this next weekend. It fells like January.
