Installing aftermarket HU.. what happens to LOCB.2?

I'm thinking of installing an aftermarket head unit, probably something in the Kenwood DDX8*** series (6.5" touch screen 6 DVD changer, etc)

at the moment i have a Shaker 500, with an LOCB2 connecting a Rockford Fosgate amp and a 12" Punch stage 3 subwoofer in the trunk.

i only intend on swapping the head unit at this point, and would love to be able to power my OEM speakers, door subs, and Rockford Fosgate amp and sub in the trunk.

my understanding is that a Metra 70-5521 harness will give me the lines needed to connect everything.
does this harness have RCA leads, or do i still need to work with wires?

furthermore, can this harness drive the factory speakers, amps and door subs?

finally, in case the above works, do i keep the LOCB.2 tapped into the factory amp, and powering the trunk amp? or the LOCB.2 won't work anymore?

easy on the responses guys.. one at a time please, i'm getting mixed up in here

so based on my research and in case anyone is interested.. the Metra 70-5521 should be enough to power the factory speakers, driver kick panel amps and door subs.

furthermore, the LOCB2 is of no more use, as i should be able to plug the aftermarket amp straight to the new head unit.

apparently i will also need a voltage regulator to convert the output voltage of the new headunit going to the OEM amps from 12v to 5v.. still digging for that.

You have it all sorted out. The new harness will have 2 remote wires on it- one for the doors, one for the rear subs. Make note of that and either use it to your advantage, or don't. I was never able to find the remote wire in the trunk of my car, so I had to run one myself.

i wasn't able to find the remote trunk wire in my car either but i already have the wires run to the trunk as my Amp is already wired through the LOCB.2
i should simply unplug the RCA cables from the LOCB2 and plug them behind the new head unit then i'm in business

my only problem now is that i've checked with every freakin online shop and couldn't find the Metra 70-5521 harness available.. and even those who have it listed in stock, said it's out of stock and is on a nation wide back order..

others simply gave me the "sorry we don't ship internationally" crap
