Unfortunately, I failed to take a before pic of my charcoal black sport appearance non-iup dash from the driver's side. Is there anyone that would be willing to take a picture of theirs and e-mail it to me? It would really help my archive. This is what my after looks like, I would greatly appreciate a before picture. I think I need one of the door also.....

I've upgraded to a my color cluster and painted the chrome bezels (aluminum). I also painted the door handles and window bezels. I used basecoat/clearcoat so it should last a while. I am just now finishing the driver's window switch bezel. I also put in and painted the start button.

How does the engine start button work? Does it let you start the car without a key? That must present a theft problem, so that can't be. Hmm.

No, you need the key. Even if you did not need the chip in the key, you would still need it to unlock the column.
