I got the AVIC-D3...where's the VSS wire?
Hello Everyone,
I've got the Pioneer AVIC-D3 waiting for me under the xmas tree
I've been planning the installation, and the only thing I'm not clear on is the location to connected the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor). I have a 2007 GT.
I understand that this is not required for the unit to function properly, but I'd prefer to have this connected in order to use the full functionality of the unit.
If anyone had pics, that would be GREAT!!
Thanks!

Mark, here is a link below for the thread that has my install, Tom281's answers to questions, and Grabber07s install. Its a FANTASTIC HU. Just waiting for the weather to clear up so I can actually take the car out and use the nav again (only got 20 minutes before a torrential downpour). This should help you out!

Thanks! Tom281's thread had a great picture of it. I think I'm all set to do the installation next week.
Thanks for the awesome info!
You will absolutely love the headunit!! Ive never had Nav in a mustang and let me tell you...its saaaweeetttt
The D3 install is done. I had a problem doing the bypass for the navi\video. The wire taps I used didn't pierce the wire, so the ground contact wasn't being made. Once I fixed that, everything worked like a charm. Thanks for the help...
