Headrests

Does anyone know if there is any other Ford headrest that fit the S197? My wife cannot stand the forward angle that they have. Plus I have embroidery on them and would like to save them for only shows.

I love the angled 'rests! Compared to my '96 it's great to relax my head without staring at the ceiling.

Seems like it. I failed to mention that I'm not that fond of the angle either.

The tilting headrests are $200 for the SET!!!!!

BTW, I've got them, and am quite pleased with them.

(Leaving your wife is like getting a CAI. It costs up front, but you get paid back every day and at some point you're ahead!)

OK, post some pictures of these headrests. My wife doesn't like her side either!

Note: the headrests are one click from all the way BACK (meaning they can go one click back for a more open angle, and a few clicks forward for a more closed angle)

i swear all other head rests are designed for anti-whiplash and have nothing to do with comfort whatsoever!!!!!

Only one click hardly seems worth it.
I went for the "get rid of the wife" option.
One thing I found out, you can pull the headrests out and turn them around.
No whiplash protection, but your wife will keep quiet while staring at the roof.

I didn't realize it was $200 for the set. That sounds a little better. Plus I can't get rid of my wife. She's my only helper when it comes to mods & car show detail !!!

I think they just need a bit of padding in the low area between the seat and the head rest. Maybe a small custom pillow to fill the area. They are very comfortable that way. I was messing around with some foam just never got around to having it covered.
I was also thinking about having the rods on the headrest bent so the headrest sits more upright. It would be nice to have one to mess with bending the rods so I don't mess mine up

It's not one click...it's about 3 or 4, because all the way forward is about stock = closed angle. Therefore, I'm about 3 or 4 clicks toward OPEN angle (away from closed angle), which equates to one click away from being the most open angle.

Think about it.............it's harder to write.

Also, trust me, one click forward is quite enough. Anymore and it would feel like the old SN95 headrests.

I have the tilt ones also. They were worth every penny to shut my wife up about the factory ones.
