I had them embroidered on the front only. The link to the companies website is on my first post. You have to send only the headrest cover. It is fairly easy to get them off. The cost was $70 for the pair. From the time I dropped them off at the post office to the day I got them back was 6 days. Giulio is the guys name. He is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The quality ,price and turn around is excellent. I would recommend him to anyone who wanted to have this done.

Not sure if this is a dumb question, barely started my coffee. Did you embroider them on the front or back of the headrests? Or both?

I'll give you a heads up. The Only ones I have seen are embroiderd on the front. I'm sure if someone had a special request the back could have something also.

I think I am going to do mine as well. Im gonna have "David" on the drivers seat, my wifes name"Denise" on the passengers seat. LOL I am only joking. I hope no redneck does this.
Well they look awesome. How long were you without them and what was the total cost after shipping?
Thanks,
David

Looks great. If I can figure out how to take my cloth headrests off, I will do it. I can figure the thing out. I think it might be stiched on ?!?!?
ANyway....LOOKS AMAZING!!

The cloth covers come off just as easily as the leather. Raise the headrest to it's highest position, reach under the headrest and fish out the bottom connector. The connector is a plastic flat piece on one side (front/back, I don't remember which) that fits into a plastic clip on the other. Work the flat out of the clip and spread the opening as wide as possible - be careful not to pull too hard and tear the cover.
With the bottom open, start working the material out over the corners of the headrest and up the sides. Work it side to side carefully until it comes off the top. If you run into a soft plastic bag underneath the cover, work that off too. Save the plastic bag!
Now you have a naked foam headrest! Send the covers off to Giulio and about a week later they'll return with your choice embroidered into them. Be sure to insure the shipment both ways as those covers are expensive (~$250). I used 2-day delivery both ways and got mine back in a week and a day.
Installation is the reverse of the removal and here's where the plastic bag comes into play. Put the bag back on the head rest then work the cover on, tuck the edges of the bag under the cover and reconnect the clip and tuck it under the headrest and you're done.
The reason they use the plastic bag is that it let's the cover slide easily over the headrest foam. If you don't have it, the cover will drag significantly on the foam and make the job very difficult. Incidentally, the use of soft plastic bags is an old classic Mustang restorer's trick. I've used pieces of Wal-mart bags to make easing new vinyl around the curves of seats on all 3 classics I've reworked in the past 15 years.
Here's a pic of the running Pony Giulio put on my cloth headrests. Hope this helps.
Chris
