I heard both and liked the shaker 1k, but not the 1,300 additional price. Has anyone added a amp and rear speaker to their trunk? I know I can do it cheaper than the asking price of the 1k.

I am still patiently waiting on the 06 to come in and dreaming of the mods yet to be ordered or install.

How does that enclosure compare to other ones you've had in the past? How does the sub sound? (Don't think I will go with the sub option, but interested anyways)

No way I'd pay that kind of money for the Shaker. Just my opinion. Much better sound, much lower price.

 

do you have a parts list with that? who made the enclosure? I assume it is next to the back wall?

Made it myself. Using MDF, liquid nails, and screws. Wrapped the front in red vinyl. I had a thread on it, but I searched and can't find it anywhere... Things keep getting moved, but I'll go back through my posts and see if I can find out what happened to that thread.

 

I went an even easier route, though not as "thump"y as others mentioned... $450 after wiring + tax + warranty.
