guages in a v6

Ok, i am putting some auto meter guages in my 06v6. i just like to know more about the engine than the idiot guages in the dash. they just dont do it for me.

so here is my questions...

1) the temp sender seems to be mounted in the crappy tstat housing so replacing that with an aftermarket tee is a no go.. so i am going to put an adapter in the upper rad hose.. it should give me fairly accurate temp readings i think...

what do you think?

2) where is the oil pressure sender on this thing???? or is there a better place to get o/p readings then that?

ive thought about gauges a few times myself. ive never seen a good write up for installing them, as the directions with gauges are not too good. heres a cool part for doing some oil gauges. they also have some other options for different gauges

the obdII port has all the info coming through it. theres a really nice digital gauge that tells everything and just plugs in to the port, cant remember the name. someone else will know. (interceptor?)

I've got a set , they have 2 analog inputs on each gauge for parameters that are not on the computer. I have boost and oil pressure on two of the analog inputs ...
