That is the running pony engraving, so is the other one you were asking about. The difference is that mine are smooth and the other guys has the anti slip. Same engraving just a different pedal finishes.

Work, work, work and little time to play.
B) Finally got mine installed. Wife loves the oversized brake pedal. :bang: The top left bolt of brake was a bear getting it installed. Pedal bracket weldment underside left very little room. Ended up putting a piece of tape around 3 sides of the nut and forcing the nut into an open end wrench. Wish I'd have thought of it 45 minutes sooner. Would have benn a total of about 20 minutes to install.
Have not installed the dead pedal and may not. Dead pedal is a little larger than I htought and don't like the way it mounts. Maybe after looking at a mod to change the mount angle??? We'll see.
Definately like the domed inserts.
If you're having problems with any of them popping out try some clear silicone next time you install tehm.
I attached some poor quality photos to give an idea of what they look like. Guess after looking at these pics I'd better keep my day job.... it was easier to put together this group buy than take good photo's

Looking great Woody!!! Based on the previous pictures of the Dead Pedal installed, I think it would look great with your set up. And thanks for the tip about the inserts.

This buy went great and the other Dan ran also went well.
What's a little disappointing is the lack of photos from everyone.......
Come on .... need pics of your installs

First and formost. Thank you Hags1 for coordinating the 2nd buy and thanks to Woody1, cause without the original buy, I wouldnt have gotten into the 2nd buy! They look great installed!!!!
I installed mine today. I got the Frosted Anti-Slip type. It doesnt look like it in these pics due to the flash, but they have almost a silver white look to them. Looks really nice with the IUP. Dead Pedal has the flange on it as well, which looks really great installed.

and now that I am done, its time to relax!!

The dead pedal screwed into the carpet, then into the foam that is under it. As long as you are careful (ie dont strip it by screwing too far), it seems to hold really well. That part of the install took about 5 min. With the flage, it was pretty easy, cause it really only fits into one place.
haha, you know us Irish! Always got something good around to smoke on

I found some cool rubber expanding anchors that I'm going to try. I got four of them, they're about a 1/4" in diameter and 1 1/4 " long. They have a threaded area at the bottom and as you tighten the screw the body buldges at the center.
I'm going to drill the foam, sink them in there with 100% silicon caulk and then use them to affix a thin aluminum plate to the top of the foam. The plate will be what I attach the dead pedal to. This will also allow me to set the angle of the pedal to whatever I want.
Probably ****
but I want it to last.Yup, I know you Irish

All my pedals are pop riveted instead of using the supplied machine nuts and bolts, so I just pop riveted the dead pedal to the aluminum plate. It feels a lot firmer now then it did when I just screwed it to the foam.

That's what I did with my dead pedal.....I used them plastic drywall anchors with the big threads....siliconed the threads as they turned into the foam, let it sit for a day, and then mounted the aluminum plate to the anchors. That foam is really soft and I figured the provided screws would easily tear out over time.

I saw the same anchors you're talking about and had them in my hand until I ran into the rubber-jubbers. I think they are both solutions that will last a long time.
I like the pop-rivet idea, where were you when I was fighting to tighten the darn nuts at the back of the pedals
? I may give that a swing with the dead pedal, thanks for the tip!

Well, finally got the car on Monday and had a chance to put in my pedals (from this first group buy) this afternoon. Hopefully it isn't too noticeable that the brake pedal is just the slightest bit crooked. If it starts to bug me enough, I figure I'll redo them putting the screws in where most people did... it was tight where I put them, but it worked and I like it a bit better this way.
