Good source to buy real leather?

As the title says. I need a good source to buy some real leather. No vinyl, real leather.

I would love to buy some perforated leather as well. There has to be a online shop that sells automotive grade leather.

Also does anyone know it they make a leather dash cover for a gt? I am sick and tired of the plastic dash. Feels hollow, I am sure with some 1/2inch padding and some persuasion I could recover the dash to look and feel great.

At one time, I posted to a "Javier's" thread, he makes custom pieces, to come up with a dash cover. Can't believe there was no interest. If this were to become available, I am sure they would sell. The dash top cover I think, would be best done in a high quality vinyl. I don't know how leather would fair in the hot sun. Lets get some interest going in this thread. I would love some well designed leather enhancements for our interior.

As to your post on the emblems, I attached mine with 3M tape over the vinyl before I installed the panel inserts and they held just fine! I didn't want to drill any holes for this mod. Common guys, with all the varied talent here, there must be a leather worker who could come up with some ideas.

Thank you!

As for a nice leather dash, I still cant belive no one makes one. I was looking at my dash, and honestly you dont have to take the thing apart to install leather or vynil on it.

Simple glue should work just fine, failing that even 3m tape would work a treat. The hard part is geting someone to cut and doublestich a line down the crease, this would make it look fantastic. I believe the gt500 has a leather dash, but its built differently from the gt & v6.

Might be a good idea to just stop by your local custom interior shop of choice and see where they get their leather from. They probably buy in bulk and can get you a good deal.

If you were from SoCal I could definetely point you in the right direction with the place I used for my other project car. Awesome work and very resonably priced. Anyway here is their website....
