Freebie mod...Quicklifts / Redline tuning
I contacted Redline Tuning about seeing if they had a quicklift kit available for the 2005 Mustang. Below is the return email I was sent, to bad I live in Florida...
If anybody around South East Michigan is interested go to www.redlinetuning.com. Looks like a good way to get a freebie mod and rid of the hood support at the same time B) My guess is first come, first one done.
"Thanks for your interest in our products. We are very interested in your offer, we have the 05 Mustang on our list to complete within the next few weeks.
If by chance you are located around South East Michigan, we would like to create a QuickLIFT kit for the 05. We already have an initial design thought out, however, we generally take about 2-3 hours to test, install and shoot the photos for the installation manual. Your vehicle would be featured on our web site for the 05 kit and your car would be in all of the photos for the manual as well.
You would receive the installed QuickLIFT kit for free for your time and for volunteering your vehicle

Quicklift kit is a strut support system for your hood. Attachs at the sides back near the hinges. This would get rid of the prop rod at the front when you open the hood. Check out www.redlinetuning.com for more info.
