Daddy like! I am not a huge fan of the stock wheel, and want to replace it. removing the stock wheel with the airbag would probably be some kind of big no-no though...

maybe will have a problem with the airbag sensors and adding it to the stock steering column

Just call a Sparco distributor, that's a "stock" road-racing wheel they manufacture...

thanks for the advice on the sparco distributor...I found out that the 05 mustang uses the same hub as a focus. funny i googled sparco and clicked the first link i found, called the 800 number and the guy ended up being in the same city as me...

now i just gotta figure out how to get around the airbag indicator or any CEL that may pop due to the airbag not being present. not to mention if I do this and the airbag kills me while i am removing it I would appreciate if you all would nominate me for a darwin award....lol

removing the airbag isnt hard but check with your insurance as it will be next to oimpossible to get insuranc eon acar without abag and if anything happens to your car without teh bag in it they will simply void the policy
