Is there any change in the manual Mustang pedals from 2004 to 2005? I'm 90% sure, but if any of you 2005 owners could let me know that would be great!

Replacements Dan. They're the ones from the Mach 1 and Bullitt editions...I got mine for an awesome deal at johnbleakleyford.com.

I shopped around a ton for a good price. I got 3 pedals plus a Chrome Mustang License Plate bracket (looks sweet!) for about $57 with shipping.

And yeah, I'm hoping they'll drop in. They look awesome.

Very nice. I think they will look sweet. Post up pics when you can. I'd definately consider doing this. Hopefully no drilling.

I checked the Bullit Pedal kit at Ford this AM and the gas pedal is completely different. The clutch/brake covers MAY work...didn't actually take it out into the parking lot and try to fit it to my '05 as I would want a set of 4 matching pedals. The Dead Pedal cover would need a custom bracket to attach it to unless the '99-04 bracket would work.

Steeda has #555-1152 3 Billet Pedal Cover (3 pc) and are releasing part #555-1156 "Steeda Billet Aluminum Dead Pedal" in about two weeks.

I got replies from Sean Hyland Motorsports and Steeda this AM regarding my inquiry on part #555-1156:

Sean Hyland: "We do sell the part #555-1156 Steeda Billet Aluminum Dead Pedal"

My next question to them was "Do you have stock?" Based on the following info from Steeda, their answer has to be "No"...

Steeda: "This is an upcoming part that will be available in about 2 weeks."
My next question to Steeda was "Will it match 555-1152?"

Are you saying the gas pedal won't work at all?

I just got off the phone with PartShopper and he deleted the pedal order for me. It's a no go on an 05 for now.I don't think I like the Steeda pedal set any way.

When you say that the pedals are significantly different...are you talking about the mechanism or just the appearance of the pedal?

No, the '99-04 gas pedal won't work. The pedal and arm in the '05 are a single molded plastic unit. The Bullit gas pedal replaces the original at the bottom end of the arm.

I kind of expect the Steeda pedal covers require drilling judging by the holes they appear to have in them.

I would prefer the Bullit style myself to Steeda's design but I'll take what I can get to have a dead pedal and a matching set. I'm not opposed to drilling (I think). Right now it's that or....clear carpet runner???

Significantly different due to the SN95 having a cable operated TB that attached to the top of an arm that was controlled by the throttle pedal. The 05 Stang has an electronic TB and no cable, therefore no arm(?) Unless the pedal itself would work, and you wouldn't use the arm mechanism

The gas pedal mechanism is quite different. The '05 has a one piece molded plastic pedal and arm assembly which actuuates the switch sending unit up under the dash. The Bullit pedal piece at Ford was just the pedal "head" so to speak, and mounting holes to attach to the gas pedal arm on '99-04's.

LOL well my pedals arrived today (I ordered them more than a week ago), and it looks like the brake/clutch pedals would fit. Too bad about the gas pedal though.
