Got the windows tinted today....I could have gone 20% all around even though that wouldn't have been street legal, but, after looking at the various shades i decided on 35% on the sides on 20% in the rear.

Been waiting for the storms to pass and my order of Zaino to come in, which it finally has, so she's a little bit dirty. Was able to get some pics taken before we got hit with some nasty storms.

That looks cool. Your car is an exact twin of mine, except for the window tint. I went with 20% on all the windows.

no you can pick your nose without people watching. Man, I love window tint!

 

I seriously considered it but remembered that the 35/20 mix I had on an older car was good enough for me...plus since the car is darker in color and since I have the dark charcoal interior it actually makes the tint appear darker than it really is.

I got the windows tinted on my baby Monday. I was planning on going with 35%, but they only had 28% and 18% in the film line I was interested in, so I went with 28%. It is a tad darker than what I was originally looking for, but I REALLY like the way it looks from the outside and it is not so dark from the inside that I have issues at night. Now if it will just finish curing...

Thanks for the picture. Everyone says 35% is to light but it looks pretty good to me. I'm thinking about doing 35% on the sides. 70% is the limit here so I want to make sure I don’t go to dark that I get in trouble. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay? Which brand should I go with? 3M?

As far as picking is concerned; apparently alot of people think they have tinted windows that simply don't. What are they thinking?
