Finished my trunk

Got this all wrapped up this weekend. 2 10's with a 300 watt amp. Small box made to fit and beauty board. Sounds good, looks like it's built in.

That does look very nice. Do you know if it's equivalent to shaker 1000 or better?

Those two mtx's will blow the shaker 1000 away. A buddy of mine has two Mtx 10s under the back seat of his silverado and that thing pounds harder than any car I've ever been in.

To the op, looks really professional man! I'd love a setup like that except that I don't want to loose the ability to fold the seats.

Not sure what you mean, I can still fold the seats. Do you mean losing the pass thru?

Sure looks like it would be a hassle to get into your spare tire area and if you need it that loud, let me suggest a hearing test.

I figure you're the type of guy that eats all the butter he wants even if it kills you, since you're going to die with a smile on your face. lol

Well that's true.

But i was a little worried you might have meant some kind of weird California thing or something.

I have won 6 of 6 audio contests at car shows with my Shaker 1000. It has some upgraded speakers and well placed Dynomat though. About $250 in upgrades. And I wasn't against stock systems; one was against a $5000 kicker sponsored car, another against a truck with MTXs. Nothing special, it was car shows, not audio shows.

You must have been sitting inside the truck, a couple feet away from the speakers. No way they have the room under a seat for a decent box/set-up!

Oh, my bad. I just assumed that with the box there you had bolted it to he back of the seats or something.

Looks great! Considered doing it with mine, but put the amps there instead with a box on the side of the trunk. Like the look of this a little better lol.......Are those 5500s?
