Driver's side kick plate removal
Okay, I've tried prying with screwdrivers, slotted tools, etc, and I can't get the black round pin to budge more than 1/8 inch. Everyone else says it's easy to remove. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Pull up on it - do you mean the black pin or the whole kick panel? Do I even have to remove the black round pin at all?
No joke - I've been pulling / prying on that round pin for a total of over 15 minutes. I take a break, do something else, come back to it, and it won't budge more than that 1/8 inch. Doggone it.

FIANLLY! I ended up reaching my hand behind the kick panel where the pin is located, and pulled using the backside of the kick panel.
Thanks for the encouragement! I guess I'm not s strong as I used to be.

I think they make a $10 gizmo designed to pull those things without destroying them. I widdled a homemade one out of a putty spatchula. Seems to work. It just looks like a flat pry bar, with the slot in the middle sized to those pins.
