Ok, I know the shaker skips....mine doesn't...but some do. Thats NOT what this thread is about.
ok. now...
I am trying to burn an Mp3 disk...and it works fine, except that the shaker only plays the first 89 songs (50 folders) on the CD. The tracks are all mp3s. same id tag version, etc.
its really bugging me. I tried burning the disk several times. It plays the tracks fine...but I can't get the last 40 tracks (approx) to play. In fact, they aren't even listed on the player. They show up on the computer...but not on the shaker.
help. :bang:

dont use so many folders i think. ive been burning mp3 discs for 3 or 4 years now i use anywhere from 0-10 folders, never morew. i find that there are no errors ever. use data mode 1, file system should be iso 9660 + joliet file name lenmgth should be 31 char level 2 andcharacter set should be iso 9660 standard.

Not sure why it is not finding your files. The limits are supposed to be 99 folders if you are using the folder mode, and 255 tracks if you are using track mode. I agree with the previous poster - try burning with fewer folders and see if the songs show up. Also, try messing with the folder versus track mode and see if you can select more.
