Cool. I am interested in the dead pedal for sure. Hope it is a little bigger than steeda's, steedas just looks a little small to me. I have an automatic so it would be great if it were a little wider. Let me know when you see them out.

Yah my impressions of steeda's dead pedal, was that it was just too small, and especially with an automatic. Should be able to put a nice sized dead pedal there. Maybe with manual its alright, but still to me looked small.

I have the Steeda Dead Pedal installed and its a great product. I have a size 11 foot and have no problems finding it. The install was easy and I am very happy with it. Looks great too!

Same here. Ordered the Steeda pedals but found the dead pedal too small, then ordered the UPRs... I was thinking about going to a machine shop to make them build my own dead pedal, but I guess I'll wait for this UPR to come out first !

I just installed the upr pedals and they look great. Not hard to install, unless you have big shoulders ,then you get a little cramped working under the dash.I like how they still use the rubber from the stock pedals. One tip I can give is that when drilling your 7/64 pilot holes it will be a pain trying to screw in the self tapping screw(very hard).so I re -drilled the holes with a 1/8 bit and although still hard,it was much better and still very solidly mounted.Pics to come.

I found it easier also to drill with the flexible arm attachment of my Dremel, since it's hard to get the right angle on the brake & clutch pedal with the drill

My hubby put on the pedal set this weekend, and from all the cussing I heard, they were a PITA to install. He ended up going to Home Depot for a new Dremel kit and flexible arm for it. Our drill was apparently too big, so he felt a spankin new tool would help out greatly. I guess it did, because the pedals are on and he stopped cussing.

I used a Dremel as well. I have the flex tip but didin't need it, my Dremel is on the small side. I just about burned it up drilling the holes, though, a major PITA. I still roasted 10, yes TEN!, drill bits while drilling the holes in the clutch and brake pedal. And yes, the 7/64 is too small for the self tapping screws to go in, so I had to bore them out a little bigger. Also, using a regular screwdrive was a PITA, but a socket style bit with ratcheting handle worked much better.

VERY solid install, these aren't going anywhere. Look great, and good grip. Can't wait for the dead pedal.

You could of used one drill bit and put all 3 on in about 10 minutes, that is how long it took for me to put them on..piece of cake. Key is to push down the clutch then drill with the other hand then install a screwdriver bit in the drill and install screw. Sorry to hear you had a hard time.

I think I was running the Dremel at too high of a speed and putting too much pressure, and just round the end of it off before it could get a good bite. I tried less pressure and slower speed and it worked much better.

It's all good, there on now and look great! And I have some new drill bits.

Problem is a Dremel doesn't have much torque so it's not too good for drilling.

Hey Scott, that was a good find. I like the look of those pedal dressups. They remind me of the stainless pedal accents I used on my '71 Dodge Charger. They just had tabs that folded over the back to secure them to the OEM rubber pieces. Screws sound a heck of a lot more permanent! The dead pedal will make a nice finishing touch.

You could have come over and helped me out! I had two actual drills I could have used, but for some reason grabbed the dremel instead.

Feel free to come back over anytime!

Oh beleive me I will.
I still haven't decided on which sequential kit I want. I've decided on WebElectronics like you have, but I'd be interested to know how the "Plug & Play" is installed.
As for the pedals, I definitely want a set but that seems like a lot of money for you get. Maybe they'll come down in a few months.
Besides, my wheels are supposed to be available in a couple of weeks.

Well stang nut, the plug and play if your talking about cdc dynamite stick sequentials it was very easy. I am sure any that say plug and play shouldnt take more than 30 minutes, and most of that time is undoing the light housings. Good luck on whichever kit you get. I know cdc is a little pricey, but I just wanted a nice kit, that I could take off easily if I wanted too, and go back to stock, which this kit is very easy to undo.
P.S. WEll back on topic the upr dead pedal shouldnt be much longer if we are still on the 45 day schedule, cant wait to see one from them.
