Dead Pedal Now Available...

Foot rest cover protects your carpet and is made from heavy guage stainless steel. Finally got the licensing worked out with Ford.. they can be purchased at http://www.stangdeadpedals.com For my fellow members in the US ....make a note that your a form member and I'll ship for free. Would also like any comments good or bad...have sold many and had no complaints so far...only takes 10 seconds to install and looks great in my wife's GT and my Supersnake...Reg

I have one of these dead pedals (DP6003) and I am very happy with it. The pedal covers the entire area where I rest my foot. The install is extremely simple. There are metal prongs on the side that go through the carpet and the styrofoam block under the carpet. You line the pedal up and just push it in. The prongs hook in and keep it in place.

If you went to all the trouble of getting the licence for the ford logos, why are your Shelby pedals still using the wrong snake? I would really like one of these dead pedals in my GT500 but it needs the right Tiffinay Snake logo, not some off the wall different snake.

Rick,
I Have the license to use the tiffany snake but it's pretty busy when you try to cut it out with the laser..still working on it...will cost more cuz it takes longer to cut...was trying to use Shelby's designed logo..the reason I'm using the Shelby Snake is that it's Shelby's and not Ford's so I think the Tiffinay snake(which is licensed by both ford and shelby) will not be used as much as before...I might be wrong so don't flame me but that's the jest I got from Shelby. My Supersnake has the Tiffany Logo which I like better so I'm working on that...if I get some prototypes run you'll be the first on my list....Reg

If you get the tiffany snake version worked out, please let me know. I really would like one. I do understand about the logo being more difficult to cut.

I like the look of this because it matches the Steeda door sill plates I recenly picked up. Would also like to see some more pics of the pedal installed.

Question

It's not very apparent, but are the designs a "cut out"? Or is it etched on the surface? I live where there is a lot of dust and dirt and a "cut out" would defeat the purpose of having a dead pedal cover. Just wondering.

Steven,
They are indeed cutouts...there are deadpedals out there for mustangs that are plates only but most have holes in the billet..this is the only one that covers the whole footrest...and what little carpet that show's though the cutouts will be exposed to the elements...nothing a vacuum wouldn't fix...I do have the plate only with no cutouts if you'd like one of those...just have not put on the website yet...much cheaper only $29.95 since there's no laser cutouts...thanks, Reg

Received them today. They look great !! Well worth it in my opinion. Adds that missing touch that Ford forgot.
