Talking Custom Shift **** "Ball" made by Koolknobs.com - Clear / Lime Gold (P1) paint swirls

Hi all,

From Bruce @ Koolknobs I ordered a custom Clear resin **** with Lime Gold (P1) paint swirls in the core of the **** - along with 3 pins inlayed in the **** with a clear layer of resin embedding all the pins. The **** looks outstanding.

The shift **** has a Tri-bar pony "in" the top of the **** & Ford logo's on the side. The lapel pins were ordered from www.fordcollection.com

You can view pricing on his site, but the **** cost $65 shipped to my door in Canada which included an aluminum jam nut for the boot.

He can embed almost anything in the **** as long as it fits

Here's what the jam nut looks like:

Here you can see the top of the **** from approx. the drivers view; I picked clear resin so you can see the brass fitting for the threads.

View from what the passenger would probably see:

Back view:

And finally it's a pretty close match to the Lime Gold paint... He actually uses the factory touch up paint - he still had from the last Lime Gold **** he made.

Bruce does great work.
He can turn practically anything into a shift ****, and also crafts his own designs.

I took that pic of the jam nut.
That's the first Seahawks **** I had him make.
I also had another, that is marbled silver with their old logo, and I had him make a Raiders one for a friend.

He gave me two jam nuts for helping him design them, I hope you like it.

COOL - I didn't take a picture of the one I got and that's the one he forwarded when I first spoke to him - So I figured I'd post that

Yeah it's amazing work - I'm very impressed!

When you order the MGW shifter you can order it with the stock S197 thread so the **** should work fine! I'm probably going to be ordering an MGW shifter in the coming weeks so I sure hope it'll work

From what I understand in asking Bruce *many* questions, he can embed pretty much anything in the **** - photos, etc.. you name it. Superman **** - If your talking about the "S"; if you can find a lapel pin he can do it, as for a red & blue **** he can probably do that too!!.. Check out some of the sample ***** on his site, it's crazy some of the stuff - I'm not one for skullz but his black & clear skull **** is amazing

Nice looking!

Can you do them in Vista Blue with racing stripes as well?

I know somebody who is looking for one and would die to be able to find one.

Bruce does this in his spare time - he has another job - and is about to retire from his "fulltime job" When he was making my shift ball he had issues with his email, but he normally does respond quickly, give him some time
