Does anyone know how much the local ford dealership will charge to install a full set of factory leather takeoffs for our 05+ mustangs? I'm trying to get an idea. Also how much it would cost to buy and install factory leather at the ford dealership? I'm sure it would be cheaper to buy take offs form someone but I would like to know both.

 

I would just get a set of custom leather seat covers. You could get ones with a Mustang or GT design or a color stripe to match your car.....lots of combinations out there.

 

I would also recommend after market leather. The factory leather from Ford will cost you well over 1k$ and I got my Katzkins for around 600 and I put them in myself.

Diversified Marketing sells factory leather seat take offs, but they are the dark charcoal. They cost $300.

Your covers look great. Where they hard to install? Do you have the side air bag?

 

Thanks, they were not bad to install It only took me 6-8 hours but not working on them steady. I have done Katzkins once before so it helped me with the install and I found it to be a lot easier this time. I do not have the side air bag so I couldn't help you with that.

 

Appreciate the response. Everything I've heard about doing seats with the side air bag sound like a real PITA. Might make sense for me to order the covers I want and have them installed locally.
