Bluetooth Hands Free Install?

Anyone install (or have installed) a bluetooth hands-free setup that's tied into the factory Shaker 1000?

Had a prior Stang with factory Mobile-Ease. Like to do the same with the 500.

I went with the UBT103 kit from Hands Free Auto. The control mounts in the lighter pocket right in the middle of the dash, it integrates into the radio, mutes the radio with in-coming calls and uses one of the radio speakers with a very small windshiled-mounted mic. Overall, like it.

We're using the Motorola T605 with the appropriate wiring, went into the car in like 5 minutes. Works well, and is very unnoticed on the dash.

Did you install the T605? If so, how involved was it? This is installed with the Shaker 1000, correct?

I want to make sure of a few things;
1) I can do the install
2) wiring is made for the Shaker 1000
3) it works as well as the Mobile-Ease (auto mute Shaker, voice over speaker(s))
4) Voice commands (Moto phones have it)

Any help is very much appreciated, pics too!

Thanks.

The kit I listed does all of that, it even indicates "phone" on the radio display when in use and utilizes the radio volume control during operation.

I did the install personally. Our car has the shaker 500, but I don't think it matters to the bluetooth / head unit software. It took literally longer to unbolt the center console and stereo than it did to do the install, in all I think I had 1 hour in the job.

1) Yes I'm sure you can do it.
2) Wiring for fact is available for the 500, I think it is the same for the 1000. (what interfaces is the same) It was plug-n-play, no splicing, no scotch-loks, no butt-connectors - very OEM.
3) Works the same way, says "phone" on the display when active, auto mutes and works through the stereo.
4) I haven't tried voice commands yet. Car is still sitting in the trailer waiting to go to the PRI show, and I barely got a chance to play with it prior to leaving for SEMA.

Something else to consider, the new motonav unit we have has bluetooth integrated in, and can act as a speakerphone too, but I think it will end up in my truck and the handsfree setup will stay in the Mustang, using a non-bluetooth dash-mounted nav when I absolutely have to use it (I hate computers telling me how they want to be taken somewhere...)

I didn't do photos of the install (should have now that you mention it) but I have a couple shots of it on the dash, and they (Motorola) came by at SEMA for pictures, so I am guessing some of those photos will end up on their site as well. It is very unobtrusive, and barely noticeable on the dash.

Curious where you bought your unit as the site states "wholesale only".

I installed a Parrot Evolution in my car, it looks just like the UBT101 on the handsfreeauto site.
A simple install, that took like someone else said longer to remove the console than to connect the unit to the car. When a call comes in the radio displays phone on the screen and I can make and answer calls without touching the phone.

Which model Parrot did you go with?? I did a quick search and found the CK3000 at Crutchfields for $120 plus $29 for the install kit. Not sure I need this in Mustang, but am definitely going to put one in my DD (Accord) as I hate using a headset.

Sorry I've been away from the forum for a couple of days, I installed the CK3000. I installed the same unit in my wife's cadillac cts, both of them with the plug and play harness.

I got the UBT103 for my shaker 1000 system but when I pulled my head unit out to plug it in, it looks like I need some other sort of wiring harness. Did you buy some specific wiring harness for that installation?
