OK, the backseat in the 05 is useless, but when I put the seat down I have some funky looking peice of trunk lining sticking up and there is a opening into the trunk. I think it looks really cheap. :notnice: Does anyone know of an aftermarked blank to fill up the space that will close off the passage to the trunk?

If not, I'm open to any suggestions from you Mustang Mod Wizards on what I could do so I have a boot when I fold down the backseat rather than an open hole into the trunk.

Thanks Kevin.

That sounds looks like just what i was looking for. Anyone out there have this MMR read seat delete kit installed in their car?

Sorry, I posted this in the wrong forum spot, I though I was in interiors not exteriors.

Kevin thanks for that MMR rear set delete link. That looks nice and it's not that expensive. Does anyone know if there is still access to the trunk from the rear seat area with that installed?

Search around. There are several How-To's on this and it's easy (and cheap) to make your own. That way you can customize it to do what you want it to. (open into the trunk, hold speakers, etc)

No problem Glen and Mike......glad to try and help where I can.

Not sure about accesibility when it's installed. Thats why I don't have it!!!

I'm a musician with tons of gear to carry around, and I need the space to be open to accomodate my gear. So......if anyone finds out lemme know. Not that I couldn't, but I'd prefer to order the kit instead of making one.

A 3 X 5 bound carpet fits nicely with the seats in the down postion. I placed a
road kill (Zebra stripe) carpet in mine. Looks nice with the red/black interior and silver exterior. Best thing is that their cheap unless you go with
oriental.
