My guess would be between $70 o $100. Here is a link to a site that sells them, but they don't have the '05 version yet.

Yes, you will need a Y-adapter audio cable to interface with the ipod. It has two RCA jacks on one end and one 1/8" headphone jack on the other.

You can get them at Radio Shack for less than $10.

f1-cobra, logjamelectronics.com sells a thing called the Blitzsafe UII Universal iPODĀ® Interface. Would I get a clearer sound w/ that than the Y-adapter audio cable or would they be about the same. That Blitzsafe thing is $60 dollars though.

So, how would we set up a group-buy for this thingy-doodle? Or should we just stick to ordering them from that logjam place?

Sorry, Cam, I really wouldn't know. I've just been following what creasman (KC) has been doing with the new shaker adapter.

And a little bit of research on how to listen to all the music I have on my laptop through the shaker.

No. You need those 'Y' cables. RCA to mini headphone jack cables.
