Aux button radio [Mustang 2005 V6 Base]
Hello,
I own a "Mustang 2005 V6 Base". On my radio there is an AUX button but this button doesn't work. I think I have a Shaker 500/1000 (Picture radio: https://postimg.cc/GTmYskkL).
How can the AUX button work?
Is this a possible solution?
Or any better solution?
Best regards,
Jos

I didn't know anybody made a unit that plugs into the radio wire plug.
I've been using a cheap bluetooth unit that plugs into the lighter/power outlet. You set your radio to the same station that the bluetooth unit is set on.Then it gets bluetooth signal from your phone and sends it to your radio

I just finished going through the owners manual again and I can't find any indication of how you're supposed to hook something up to use the aux.All it says about it is that if you push the aux button w/o something hooked up to use it,the display will say "no aux source",or something like that
Maybe the unit you linked to is how it's meant to be used

The AUX button on my '07 works with the satellite radio. It gives you new pre-set options and new channels. Several levels. I've used it since day 1.

Thanks, I use these thing for a couple of months but the sound is not the same like it is with for example the CD-player. But I ordered the AUX thing from Amazon and in the next weeks I will check it out if I can connect that to my radio. I will let you know. Thanks for reply.

I just came across an ancient post on another forum that mentioned it being in the glove box.I'm gonna take a good look in there with a flashlight

That clears it up, my 07 gt has a aftermarket radio with bluetooth so I never looked anywhere for a aux. My p8 has it in the center console. Didnt even think that they never put one in yours. Sorry you have a dead aux button.
