I'm looking to get something that is a definite improvement over the factory mats that came with the car. Are dealer accessory mats the best option thus far, or has somebody out there got a Primo mat that they want to let us all know about? Thanx, Kevin

I ordered the 2005 rubber mats for my mustang from the dealer, because living down south with this red mud the factory mats were not going to make it. They ran me a bit over $60 --- they come with the pony logo.

I absolutely love mine. They are made by a company called Designer Mats.

Those look sweet Nichole.

As for my mats just bought some clear plastic ones from WalMart cheap but functional. They catch all the dirt, so the original mat and carpet stay clean.

The company doesn't sell to the public so you need to do a Google search for Designer Mats. Unfortunately the company I bought them from was horrible and I would never recommend them to anyone. You can customize them however you want with whatever colors. I tried to order custom mats made by Lloyd and after they charged my credit card and I thought everything was cool, 3 weeks later I called them and they said that the word "Pony" was trademarked and they wouldn't embroider it. I cancelled the order quickly and found Designer Mats.

I think the mats were ~125.00 for front and back custom embroidered mats.

I order replacement mats in the color black. I have the red interior with the red floor mats which will be impossible to keep clean. I'll save the red for when ever and keep them in good condition. But ordering the mats is like ordering the car, it's going to take two weeks for them to come in. So I guess they are C/U

I have on order, some custom mats from GPI Mustang Supply. They're selling on E-Bay for 75 plus shipping. Factory fit, front and back, with embroidered mustang logo.

Went with Weather Tech since I have used their products before. They are very thick, do not slide and have high ridges in them to catch dirt, water, etc. Black with a thin red trim border. Had to trim the rear ones.

This is where the female is going to come out...they are made of carpet material...I didn't know there where different types of materials that mats could be made of. I didn't coat them with anything, just took them out of the box and put them in the car.

Got mine from GG Bailey in GA. Custom mats - you choose the lettering. Top quality and if you enter the disount code: ALLFORD (all caps) you save 10%. Mine totaled $108.00 for a set of 4.

Look at http://www.ggbailey.com/ for the mats and you can see my mats at my gallery.

Look on pages 2 and 3.

I ordered these as well, and the quality is very good. Much better than the OEM mats. I only got front mats, and got the heel pad, custom lettering (GT), and with the discount and shipping it was $92.50. I will post pics when I can get a digital camera, but their website will let you build your mat and you can see exactly what they'll look like. Oh, and they do have a gromit hole (little hole on driver side for the piece to hold them in place).
