Martimus,

You mentioned this about the door pins: "... tighten down a decorative center cap over it." What do you mean? The site doesn't mention anything about it. Is this something that can be gotten elsewhere?

Thanks,

Alex

The MGW doorpins will come with 3 allen head set screws, the first will lock them againest the lock rod and will already be installed in the pin. Just screw it down againest the rod when the desired depth has been reached. The other 2 will finish off the top of the pin. A plain black set screw is set in place inside the pin and a stainless screw is then locked down on top of it to cover the hole. Works quite well, IMO.

I agree! Now, if they would only get those "coming soon" items available....

What Shifter? Is it an automatic shifter replacement?

Ordered the A/C **** kit, the door pins, the radio **** and the "Pony" button. (Satin finish) I was told ALL would ship no later than Tuesday 09/07/05, possibly shipping today, 09/02/05. They were waiting on the "pony" button. I'll keep you advised.
Would you mind posting some pics with the Satin Finish *****? I'm really struggling between Chrome or Satin.....

I called MGW yesterday, and they have the chrome license plate frames for the '05/'06 in stock. GT and Pony versions are available. I went with the Pony version, since the GT medallion sits right above it in back. Nothing else listed "available soon" on their website is ready yet. I'm really looking forward to that chrome cup holder bezel, and possibly the emergency brake handle. I'd like to see a picture of that one first. I like chrome accents but want to avoid excessive "bling."

If you are ordering the license plate bracket for the rear plate, I recommend you call them instead of ordering through the internet. My rear plate uses all four screws, and MGW normally only ships the frame with two stainless steel screws and two caps. They added two extra screws for me no charge.

This is not a great pic, but heres mine in Satin Finish. In my opinion, the satin matches the IUP on the dash really well. If I had IUP lite I would go with the chrome finish to match the rings on the a.c. vents.

Man, the first person to get a hold of this has got to post a review!!!

I have to wait for the bezel and e brake handle to get everything at once. I wish they would do a deal for all the stuff at like a 10% discount or something.

I got my gripper shift **** and GT power plug last night, and am very happy with both! I got the satin finish to go with the IUP dash, and I think it matches great! Now I'm going to have to get the radio **** and AC pieces to match! Just wish they had the e-brake handle available now.

I'd love to see some pics, jayguy, if you have them. I'm amazed at how much nicer the MGW products look than the Steeda, UPR, and others.

I wonder if we could get in on a group buy with them......

We did try to get a group buy and George said he had too much money invested in the tooling equipment for the new stuff to sell any cheaper. Maybe in a couple of years...

Fair enough. The prices are very good, especially considering the outstanding quality compared to other products.

I did the same a couple of months ago -- gripper shifter ****, A/C *****, GT power plug -- all in satin. They look great. As soon as they get the cup holder bezel and e-brake handle in stock, I'll order those, too.
