Hello all - adding Ambient lighting to an 06 donated from a wrecked 09. There have been some excellent threads on this but I am in need of a single wiring diagram. Page 89-4 from the 2008 wiring manual. There was a pict posted but I think it was snapped with an old cell phone and the wire colors are not readable.

Any one with this diagram it would be very much appreciated!

If you just need to have them turn on, just tap into the interior map light. If it has My Color and can change it's settings you would have to follow the OEM wiring I suppose. I don't know much of the stock ambient system, mine is homemade.

 

I saw in the old thread you bench testing yours.

It looks like the original thread showed 2 wires at the trans plug and a 3rd to the SJB. Is the SJB for constant 12v or some other control?

I am thinking off adding the ambient to my 07 but using add a circuits if all it takes is switched and unswitched 12v.
