All '07 owners - did I get screwed
Could you all tell me if you have this (using picture from a post in mustangforums) on your passenger side?
I have it on the driver's side, but not the passenger's side...and that seatbelt sure whips back. I just know it will be scratching up the plastic and/or window.
Thanks,
Todd

It's called "de-contenting" and it's been done for years. My wife's 94 had the nice door inserts and everything, while my buddy's cherry 98 GT was just plastic.
It's a continual trade-off... the guys with the older cars have to play keep-up with the technology and Hp, while the guys with the newer cars a lot of times have to retrofit the options from the older cars that are no longer available onto theirs.
Of course, showing off my active anti-theft window-down feature is just rubbing it in...

It simply holds the seatbelt to make it easier to grab. The end of the strap has what "looks" like a button or snap on the end, but it's not. It's held in place by a magnet.
The strap works great except that it comes loose very easy. And that's how the back seat pasengers get in. You just pull on the seatbelt (or the strap) a little and it comes loose, allowing the seatbelt to go back to it's "natural" position where it's out of the way.
I couldn't live without the one on the driver's side.
