Agent 47 Shifter Arm + install writeup

I checked out Agent 47s newest product, their carbon shifter arm, while I was over at their facility yesterday. They officially debuted it at SEMA this year, but this time I got to see it on a car and even got to test out how simple the intall is, so I did a little writeup for anyone thinking about getting one. Pretty cool what they can make over there.

Looks like it sit's really high. Is the height adjustable? So it's strictly a shift **** right?

I have an Auto, why am I asking all these questions?

thats in its lowest position on the Steeda Triax, its just a shift handle and ****. its designed is to make it easier to shift while racing, allowing the driver to sit back in the seat, harnessed in and be able to reach and shift well while using the short throw shifters.

most of Agent 47s products have been designed with a practical racing application in mind.

that thing is a sweet idea. i dont like the way it looks, maybe with a different color handle or without the big "47" on it.

but as far as practicality goes that thing is badass

Do they specify in the directions that it won't work with the factory shifter?

I dont know if they do or not, I just know the stock one doesnt have the shift handle mounting in the same way.

Seems to negate the "short throw" shifter by adding to the length of the handle.

Knowing Agent 47, it probably costs $300 as well.

the height of the shift arm has nothing to do with the distance the shifter has to travel between gears

and usually you get what you pay for....I always hear from people who eventually complain about something they did to their car and then find out its because they skimped on costs up front.

That's almost exactly the same thing I was thinking!
About as fugly as their mirrors, and like someone else said, probably triple overpriced.
