Aftermarket stereo
Go to Crutchfield's web site and plug in you car information and they'll give you a list of what fits. I always do my research there, and then check amazon for a lower price on the unit. But I do buy the installation kit from them
I'd just went Kenwood Eze long all the way dvd no nav , all Kenwood in the sides now that's 4 , then 2 Kenwood slim 8 " subs in the door now with 2 10" subs in my trunk. The overall sound over factory is at leat 50-60 % better .
The NEX 4000 looks great. I have been installing a factory NAV and Sync to mine, but looks like this will be the real route to go. Did you guys use the iDatalink to keep the factory XM? Would like to know how well that works, or if I need to buy the aftermarket XM add-on tuner.
The cover is a magnet I got off eBay designed to cover the plug. I bought it back in July, 2009. I am sure you can find something like it.
Do you think there's a way to modify the mounting to make it sit more flush? What mounting kit did you use?
Hi Ststang.
Looks very nice. Think I want a Nex as well. Do You have some info about wiring kit ( iso ) , and do I need some extra framework. ?
Hope to hear from You
Thanks : Henrik
