Does anyone know if it's possible to add the trip computer to a base Mustang? Didn't even realize it was an option until I was reading my manual after I bought it.

Do you mean the trip odometer is not on the base? Wow I thought anything since 1965 including a Hugo had one of those.

No, the one that tells you how many miles per gallon you are getting, how far until empty etc.

Though I don't think i even have a trip odometer now that I think about it. Just the total milage odometer.

My sister has that for her car. she has a 2004 malibu LS. it tells her how much gas she has left and how many miles she has left and when to change the oil and if theirs any ice on the roads. its pretty cool and really helpful.
