since my car is at the dealer getting the tranny worked on, i have a Mercury Montego as a rent, it has a REAL nice leather/aluminum shifter in it....do you think its possible to order this and have it be an even swap for the mustang

the only bad thing is that it doesnt have an OD button on it








oh and the console lid is covered in Pleather as well...that is so nice

 

looks nice, im waitin for aftermarket, the stock one feels kinda cheap to me, and u can get a leather console cover from those redline products

 

You also need a trans unlock button.

 

There is probably a trans unlock button on the front side of the one posted considering it is also an automatic.

 

Looks nice, but what are you going to do for an overdrive button?

 

after feeling the shifter ****...that's all i am wondering if it will fit, i think if you drill a hole on the left side...down low to put the button it would work good

i am going to have to look at my rental closer today before i have to take it back

and as for the trans lock, i wouldnt have to mess with it...all i want is the ****

 

that shifter will not work or fit. think about it, our stock shifters have a 1-2-3-D/OD pattern and the above posted shifter does not.

Just wait a few more days and we may be seeing the first pics of the B&M auto shifter.
