For you guys that have done the conversion

Do you think a California Dream Hood would work with the Shelby front end? If so, how do you think it would look?

Looks pretty good !
However the vents look to be a tad too long compared to the concept one.

Then I will do it. I'm there. My GT500 would have been legend lime had it been available. Now I can almost have one.

Won't do badges or stripes. Just components. Just my cup of tea, and not knocking those who did.

Well, judging by the pic you posted, you have both babies lined up for a test fit

just undo 4 screws on each hood (and have someone help you hold the hood as you undo the screws, so it won't slip and break the windsheild)

although the color mismatches, it should give you and all of us a clear picture of what this setup would look like
