Looks pretty good to me. I personally like it alot better than any aftermarket one I have seen.

I might just order one to play with.

But feedback from someone who installed it with some more mounting info would be great.

Well 2005sonicBoost got this for me from the guy ...

"Yeah..I cut the honeycomb off and cut out each side of the stock front end to fit the pieces on the splitter. Not hard at all...."

A man of few words. Not sure what the heck he meant by cut out each side of the stock front end to fit the pieces ...

I'm waiting on the splitter from Kevin.

I am going to attempt to fit it to the CS front fascia.

I ordered the gt500 splitter today. 45 bucks my cost which is 20% under list.

One night if I am bored I will play with it and see how it looks and what is involved. Of course, photos will follow. Just not sure when I will get to it.

I read it another forum, I think the guy's user name is Bossman, if I remember correctly. In addition to a lot of cutting, he said he had to fill a lot of holes too. But he wasn't real descriptive as to the steps involved.

hmm. I will have to check out to see if I can find his post. I don't doubt that hole filling will be involved.

I have no problem fiddling with the spoiler itself. But cutting the bumper on my car will kill the whole thing dead as a door nail.

I wonder how it would look painted body color. It looks nice in black though,

Well, call it dead, then. I found the thread----

"BUT, its not as simple as buying and bolting on. You'll have to dremel and grind both the stock front end And the plastic lip as well as fill 10 mounting holes that don't line up with anything. About 4 hours of work to make this look like it is was always there...... "

and , in response to a question,

"Depends on what you call basic??

I had to cut most of the lower part of my stock front end off without screwin it up and without taking too much away and causing other problems. I had to heavly grind the plastic lip to shape it to my front end and then fill the front mounting holes on the lip that didn't line up and it all had to be done so that when you looked at my car you don't even give it a second thought, it just looks like it is "Supposed" to be there........

Time consuming....Yup! Basic....Depends on what you call basic!"

And that's all the details he gave. I have to admit, it looks sweet. Not something I'd attempt myself, though.

I found that post too. But I still want to play with one despite what he said about it. At least 5 people on various forums have put these on at this point. No one has had to cut the body except him. And most of them fit near identical to his by the photos though some have not been fussed with as much and look hacked up.

Also, while he claims he filled the holes, if you look closely at his photos, I see holes, or at least some type of plug or something. So either his body work failed, or he just plugged them up.

Obviously material has to be removed from either the lip or the car.

Took the plunge today and bought a GT500 splitter from Kevin and will try my hand at getting it to fit. Anyone else have more experience they care to share? That guy from MO is not very articulate about what he actually did.

Are there any URL links to these other 5, other than the guy that made a real pigs ear of it.
